Description

Racial Economic Equity is an important topic that the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) and agencies all around the country are beginning to address. During this 90-minute session, you and your colleagues will be led through a process to work together to identify barriers, and brainstorm possible solutions to racial economic equity within the services you provide. Every organization will have the opportunity to generate ideas for action steps that can help find ways to increase equity. Promoting racial economic equity within your organization requires thoughtful, sustained work following the workshop. This session will begin this work and help establish a plan for long-term change.

Space is limited and these workshops will not be recorded! We are offering two sessions, so register now to ensure your spot:

  • Wednesday February 8th 9-10:30 am - Did you attend the Bank On WA forum? Do you work for a financial institution, or are you thinking about how to increase access and inclusion within financial systems? Join us for this Bank On WA-focused session - follow THIS FORM to register here!
  • Wednesday February 22nd 2-3:30 pm - Join us for our monthly WA Financial Coaches Network meeting as we explore together how to make our practice more equitable. This session is presented by Devin Stubblefield, Johanna Barrero, and Melissa Canu, ICF Team members who provide training and technical assistance on behalf of the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau.
